Overlays

A live list of your channel's recent events — subs, resubs, gift bombs, cheers, and raids — themed and animated to match your scene.

What it's for

  • Showing recent supporters during downtime without alt-tabbing.
  • A consistent visual log of who hyped the stream most recently.
  • Replacing Streamlabs' event list with something owned end-to-end.

How to set it up

  1. Create a hosted source on the settings page and drop the URL into OBS.
  2. Pick which event kinds to list, theme color, and the enter animation.
  3. Set fade time and max-events to control how long history stays on screen.

FAQ

What events does this listen for?
Phase 1: subs, resubs, gift subs, gift bombs, cheers, and raids — anything Twitch chat (IRC) delivers natively. Follows are intentionally disabled because Twitch only delivers those over EventSub, which needs a server-side subscription. That's coming in a later release.
Will events from past streams replay?
No. The overlay only shows events that arrive while it's connected. Set Fade after to never if you want events to stay on screen for the whole stream.
Can I list YouTube / Kick events?
Phase 1 is Twitch only — multi-platform listing needs platform-specific OAuth and event ingest, which is planned but not built yet.
